Community Pantry

HOW DOES THIS PANTRY WORK?

It is an easy way for neighbors to help neighbors needing non-perishable food, hygiene, or paper items. Please DO NOT leave donations of clothing, toys, or other household items.

Even though its home is on this property, this small pantry belongs to all of us. Please take care of it and the space around it. Tidy the pantry if it needs it. If you can, clean up spills, and please don’t litter.

GIVE WHAT YOU CAN BY PLACING ITEMS IN THE CABINET.

Give what you would want to receive. An easy rule of thumb: buy extra of what you buy your household. No gift is too small. A single can of food can help. Items should be unexpired and in good condition.

TAKE WHAT YOU NEED – REMEMBER OTHERS NEED TOO.

If you find items here and need them, take them and know we care about you. Please remember the pantry belongs to us all, so take only those items you need, trusting the pantry will be here for you again.

DONATIONS

We try to maintain a small stock inside to help replenish the pantry. If you would like to give a larger amount of goods, please contact us on our Contact page.

Monetary gifts are also accepted. See our Give page for more information.

We are grateful to the Chickasaw Nation for the gift of the cabinet.

The Savior Mvskoke

Sharing the Gospel and Preserving Language

Under the initial guidance of our late pastor, Rev. Bill Barnett, Mvskoke elders translated The Savior film script into Mvskoke. Their aim was to present this film about Christ Jesus to their people and preserve the Mvskoke language.

Mvskoke is the first North American indigenous language to be translated. See how you can support your language translation of the film.

Watch the two Mvskoke film shorts, utilize materials, and even contribute to the larger film project.

Churches are welcome to use the film shorts in their services.

Visit https://thesaviormvskoke.com for project updates, resources, and to view the full film.
